Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. is hiring local Class A rail drivers in Fontana, CA. Candidates need 6 months of rail work experience, a valid CDL A, and 6 months of manual tractor-trailer experience. Hazmat is a plus.

You will work AM shifts, typically 6am start, averaging 10+ hours daily and home daily. Benefits include 401(k), dental, vision, health insurance, sick pay, and paid holidays. Drivers are paid on a flat-rate per move, with pay reflecting zip-code to zip-code routes in Southern

Qualifications

• 6 months rail experience required.
• CDL Class A required.
• 6 months manual tractor-trailer experience required.
• Chassis and container handling experience preferred.
• No major accidents or tickets in last 3 years; hazmat is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Local AM shift, Monday–Friday, 6am start, 10+ hours daily.
• Home daily with drop and hook, no-touch freight.
• Operate tractors to move containers between Long Beach, Moreno Valley, LA and So‑Cal locations.
• Adhere to safety, DOT and company policies; maintain accurate logs and records.
