Job summary

Universal Logistics in Riverside, CA, seeks a Class A CDL driver for local port intermodal work. You will operate manual tractor-trailers, cover Southern California routes, and be paid per move with daily home time.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of manual tractor-trailer experience, chassis/container know-how, and a clean safety record. Shifts start early with long daily hours; hazmat is a plus.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with 6 months manual tractor-trailer experience
• Chassis and container handling experience preferred
• No major accidents or tickets in last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Operate manual tractor-trailer to perform intermodal moves within Southern California
• Shifts are AM, 6am–8am start with 10+ hours daily
• Maintain safety, logs, and vehicle condition; report incidents promptly

Shifts Available: AM- shift Monday - Fridays 6am-8am start time Averaging 10+ hours daily. The ideal candidate must be able to go to Long beach, Moreno valley, LA, So-Cal Locations.

Pay

Drivers are averaging 1500-2100 a week Flat rate structure based on a zip code to zip code format. A driver is paid for each move they perform.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months rail experience
• Must be 21 years or old
• Minimum 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience
• Must have Chassis and container experience
• No major accidents / tickets in the last 3 years
• No return to work program
• No DUI in last 5 years
• hazmat is a plus
