Job summary

Ashland University is seeking a Part-Time AM Swing Shift attendant for Student Dining. You will relay at multiple service points and support dining operations in the mornings, with a 29-hour week.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily specials and various stations (Pizza, Pasta, Deli, Salad Bar, Dessert) and stepping in for colleagues as needed. The role starts around 10/05/2026 and pays $13.50 per hour.

• Dessert

Required Qualifications

• Performs the duties in an efficient and positive manner, meeting the objectives of Ashland University and the needs of the student customer.
• Follows State health department guidelines and dress codes.
• Detail oriented, reliable, self-starter.
• Able to work with little or no supervision in a busy environment.
• Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa.

Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands

• Bending, lifting, standing for long periods.
• Tolerance to extreme heat when working in and around a kitchen environment.
