Job summary

You will assist with prep for events, maintain par levels, and ensure accurate labeling and FIFO. The position requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience in pantry/cold station preferred.
• Basic knife skills and cold-food prep knowledge.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the AM Pantry/Cold Station prior to service
• Produce cold items including salads, dressings, cold sauces, fruit displays, sandwiches, and plated cold appetizers
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and consistency of all items
• Assist with prep work for large parties, banquets, and special events as needed
• Maintain adequate par levels and communicate prep needs to supervisors
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store all food products following FIFO procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
• Support other kitchen stations when necessary
