Job summary

Grays Harbor Comprehensive Treatment Center in Aberdeen, WA is seeking a Dispensing Nurse for a part-time role. You will dispense medications under supervision, document care, and help monitor patient outcomes in an outpatient MAT setting.

The role focuses on accurate medication administration and safe handling of opioids, with early morning hours and a path for growth within a leading MAT provider.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN)
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health/outpatient treatment/addiction recovery
• Training or experience in outpatient treatment settings preferred
• Ability to operate and maintain medical equipment safely and effectively
• Skilled in drawing blood and specimen collection
• Proficient in EMR systems and related clinical software
• Competent in patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Ability to administer medications as prescribed and document responses

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director and maintain professional standards of care
• Prepare and administer medication per orders accurately and timely
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records promptly
• Ensure safekeeping and accurate inventory of medications per DEA/FDA and regs
• Maintain precise accounting of medications received and dispensed
• Dedicate ~90% of time to medication administration; remaining duties as assigned
• Conduct urine/blood tests, read results, complete intake assessments, monitor patient outcomes
• Complete all documentation accurately and per clinic standards
• May transport medication to other locations or work on a CTC Mobile Unit as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
