Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's Bellingham Comprehensive Treatment Center seeks a Dispensing Nurse to support MAT/OTP operations in its Washington clinic. You will work under supervision to dispense medications, perform urine/blood tests, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role focuses heavily on medication administration, documentation, and patient monitoring, with potential mobile unit assignments based on clinic needs. Valid LPN/LVN license in WA required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of Washington.
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment, or addiction recovery.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director.
• Prepare and administer medication as ordered accurately and timely.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records.
• Ensure safekeeping and accurate inventory of medication stock and records per DEA/FDA/regulations.
• Maintain accounting of medication received and dispensed.
• Dedicates ~90% of work hours to medication administration; other duties as assigned.
• Conduct and process urine and/or blood samples; read results and monitor outcomes.
• Complete documentation for procedures accurately and per clinic standards.
• May transport medication or work on a CTC Mobile Unit as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
