Job summary

GreenWood, Inc. is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to keep metal AM equipment safe, reliable, and efficient. You will install, commission, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair gear while documenting calibrations and parts usage.

Collaboration with operations, engineering, quality, EHS, and OEM partners is essential to improve performance and meet safety standards. The role requires hands-on maintenance, OEM-aligned preventive plans, and strong documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings, manuals, and technical documents.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and systematically troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel for OEM training and occasional technical support assignments.
• Experience supporting a positive safety culture.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on metal additive manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct semi-annual and annual maintenance activities per OEM requirements.
• Conduct inspections and testing to verify quality and safety compliance.
• Document safety findings and communicate issues requiring additional support.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, parts used, and calibrations.
• Maintain equipment service histories and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and equipment performance issues.
• Calibrate equipment and verify operation within specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, EHS, and OEM personnel to resolve issues.
