Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown, managed by First Hospitality, is seeking an AM Line Cook to transform fresh ingredients into memorable breakfast dishes. You will work under the Executive and Sous Chefs to prepare high-quality meals and maintain safe food-handling practices.

You will follow recipes, uphold portion standards, and adapt to guest requests while maintaining speed and efficiency. Opportunities for growth and promotion are available within the hotel group.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of culinary experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalency education certificate required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistently high quality by following recipes and production standards.
• Follow all food safety standards including dating, rotation, and holding times.
• Initiate preparation based on anticipated needs to meet service times.
• Store all food products properly during and after use.
• Assist in controlling food costs and reducing waste.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, ovens, mixers, and slicers.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of all equipment and work areas.
• Collaborate with team and adhere to hotel brand expectations.
