HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Assistant / Phlebotomist to join our team. You will collect specimens, perform venipunctures, and process orders under supervision, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to referral labs.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, accurate registration, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements while supporting daily department goals and cooperative teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Formación

• Vocational/Technical degree preferred.
• Phlebotomy or related certification preferred.
• 1-3 years in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform specimen collection and processing under supervision.
• Register and order entry procedures with accuracy.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and patient identification.
• Use the laboratory information system effectively.
• Assist with clerical duties and courier preparation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
