Hyatt Hotels Corporation's Grand Hyatt Deer Valley in Park City is seeking friendly Restaurant Host/Hostesses to welcome dining guests, take reservations, seat guests, and suggest menu items. You may be the last contact and ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires a true desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment, refined verbal communication, knowledge of reservations systems, and flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.

The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, ±1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of ±1,350 rooms, ±250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest "ski beaches" in the world.

Restaurant Host/Hostesses are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for dining guests both on the phone and in person. These individuals have the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include taking down reservations, providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations. They may also be the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have current Alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency. Food service and/or other certification as required
