Job summary

Cate Street Seafood Station is hiring a part-time restaurant expeditor/runner to ensure timely, accurate plating and safe, clean kitchen operations. You will read tickets, assist with plate presentation, and maintain stock on the line to support a smooth dinner service.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of restaurant experience, including expediting, and are authorized to work in the United States. This flexible role involves 20–35 hours per week with a focus on teamwork and high-quality

Qualifications

• One year of prior restaurant experience.
• One year of prior expeditor experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• AAP/EEO Statement included in posting.

Responsibilities

• Read tickets and plate to order, follow recipes and keep time limits.
• Prepare assigned food items and handle prep tasks.
• Maintain hot line clean and sanitary, and perform daily cleaning/maintenance of equipment.
• Stock/restock line items according to specs.
• Ensure food is delivered to the correct table promptly and accurately.
• Plate foods with correct orders and ingredients.
• Organize and expedite orders to prevent mix-ups.
