Job summary

Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown is seeking an AM Culinary Cook to support its hotel restaurant operations. You will prepare items per recipes, supervise line cooks, and organize daily prep while maintaining clean, sanitized work areas. This position requires flexibility to cover shifts and coordinate with the Sous Chef for requisitions.

You will handle mise en place, assign tasks, and communicate changes through the shift while ensuring quality and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Line Cook at a hotel/resort or restaurant.
• Ability to work all stations on the line.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.
• May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Enjoy working as part of a team to provide great guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Directs, trains, and monitors performance of Line Cooks.
• Prepare and assign production and prep work for Line Cooks to complete; review priorities.
• Communicate additions or changes to the assignments as they arise throughout the shift.
• Set up work station with required mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies.
• Breakdown work stations and complete closing duties at the end of last shift of the day.
