Job description

The AM Cook/Grill Assist works with the cook to set up meal trays for patients. He/she delivers patient trays and is involved in clean up. The AM Cook/Grill Assist has responsibility for washing dishes, operating the dish machine, and doing assigned cleaning. He/she puts away dishes, stocks items, and helps in the cafeteria. May cross-train as a cook.

Education Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age. He/she must take a modified diet and sanitation course provided through the dietary department.

Job Schedule:

Full-Time, 32-40 hours/week or Part-Time: 16-24 hours/week. 6:00 am – 2:00 pm or 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, days may vary. Every other weekend and holiday and fill-in as needed. May cross-train to other shifts.
