Job summary

Arbor Day Foundation seeks a dedicated Cook at Lied Lodge in Nebraska City, NE. You will prepare menu items in a fast-paced kitchen, sauté specials, and help maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting events and guest experiences on a hospitality-driven campus.

You bring at least one year of line cook experience, a passion for food, and a teamwork mindset. The role reports to the Executive Chef and offers collaboration across property teams.

Your Support System

You’ll report to our Executive Chef.

You’ll collaborate with leaders and team members across the property, including Timbers and Banquets.

How We Work

Location: Nebraska City, Nebraska - Arbor Day Farm Campus

Schedule: Full-Time; Flexible morning shift

Our campus is guest-centered and hospitality-driven. Many roles require flexibility to support weddings, conferences, seasonal festivals, and signature events. We work hard, support each other, and believe if we’re going to do something - it’s worth doing well.

What You’ll Do

• Be a part of a fast-paced work environment. Ability to stay organized and on task to keep up with high demand when busy.
• Cook menu items and sauté special items. Cook foods made to order in an efficient manner. Keep a clean and tidy working space.
• Gain experience from an upscale restaurant. Receive training opportunities to advance throughout the kitchen.
• Work as a team. Be a part of helping us create a fun work environment with teamwork at the forefront to ensure a positive experience for guests.

• Cooking Experience. Have at least 1 year of line cook experience. At least 17 years old.
