Job summary

Assisted Living On Jensen in Enumclaw, WA is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide routine daily care for residents according to assessment and care plans, under supervision.

You will document changes in residents’ conditions, assist with meals and mobility, greet residents, and maintain a warm, safe environment. Follow privacy rules, support nursing staff, and report incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.required to perform daily care tasks.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports and communicate effectively with managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily care and services per resident assessment and care plan.
• Use PCC to ensure correct resident information when assisting with ALDS, meals, etc.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Health and Wellness Director promptly.
• Document entries in notes, SPAs, and incident reports in a descriptive manner.
• Record accidents and incidents; report to Executive Director and Health & Wellness Director.
• Greet residents, escort to rooms, and introduce them to roommates and staff.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation to activities or appointments.
• Keep rooms safe, clean, and comfortable; maintain warmth and calm environment.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood/body fluids and maintain privacy of health information.
• Assist with daily living tasks (dressing, bathing, dental care, grooming, etc.).
• Prepare residents for medical tests and procedures; assist as trained.
• Perform after-meal care and ensure resident calls are answered promptly.
• Maintain supply checks, bed-making, and proper positioning for comfort and safety.
