Level5 Hospitality is hiring a Barista to craft and serve hot and cold beverages tailored to guest preferences, while greeting guests in a friendly manner and upholding brand standards.

You will set up the barista station each morning, prepare drinks and small bites, keep the dining area clean, stock supplies, respond to guest questions quickly and courteously, follow health and safety protocols, and contribute to guest satisfaction scores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in food service preferred.

Responsibilities

Salary: $18.00 Annually

Job Summary:

As a Barista you will create and serve hot/cold beverages tailored to customer preferences while greeting and servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with Brand and/or hotel sustainability standards. Your goal is to provide Level5 Hospitality and service for each and every guest.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure setup is complete each morning for the barista station and fresh foods and beverages are always available during the service hours
• Demonstrate excellent menu and product knowledge
• Prepare and serve beverage (hot and cold) and food (small bites) orders while guests are in the dining area. Checking in as necessary
• Clean the Bistro area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage
• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
• Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
• Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment
• Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes, or trays
• Fill beverage and ice dispensers
• Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
• Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment
• Performs other related duties as required

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
• Experience working in food service is preferred
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team member

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.
• Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
• Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
