Job summary

Pmb Vllc is seeking a Seasonal Food & Beverage Assistant to prepare hot and iced drinks, small foods, and handle guest transactions. The role requires on-site work, weekend/evening availability, and a focus on guest service and safety.

As part of the Food & Beverage team, you will maintain clean stations, stock supplies, monitor inventory to the supervisor, and follow PPE guidelines while delivering friendly, efficient service during peak times.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare hot and iced drinks and process transactions for guests.
  • Prepare and sell small food items and pre-packaged food to guests.
  • Accurately process and keep cash count, credit card, gift card, and other transactions.
  • Track and provide inventory to F&B Supervisor.
  • Clear dirty dishes and sanitize.
  • Keep the dining areas tidy and organize seating.
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
  • Demonstrate and understand proper food quality and standards.
  • Use proper PPE including gloves, aprons, hair nets.
  • Wash dishes, remove garbage, and assist with end-of-shift kitchen deep cleaning.
  • Assist Lodge Attendants and Cashiers as requested with garbage removal and cleaning.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform the job and get along with others to build a positive working environment.
  • Show up to work on time with consistent attendance.

Position Overview:

Prepare hot / cold drinks and small food items and process transactions for guests.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Prepare hot and iced drinks including but not limited to coffee, espressos, Italian sodas, etc. and process transactions for guests.
  • Prepare and sell small food items and pre-packaged food to guests.
  • Accurately process and keep cash count, credit card, gift card, and other transactions.
  • Track and provide inventory to F&B Supervisor.
  • Clear dirty dishes and trash from tables and sanitize.
  • Keep the dining areas tidy and organized ensuring tables and chairs are placed correctly.
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
  • Demonstrate and understand proper food quality and standards.
  • Use proper PPE including but not limited to gloves, aprons, hair nets.
  • Wash dishes, remove garbage, and assist with end-of-shift kitchen deep cleaning.
  • Assist Lodge Attendants and Cashiers as requested with garbage removal and cleaning.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform the job and get along with others to build a positive working environment.
  • Show up to work on time with consistent attendance.
  • Physically perform the essential job functions of this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Environmental Factors:
  • Exposure to heat and hot surfaces, sharp items, moving equipment, and scalding liquids.
  • Face-to-face interactions with the general public and Resort staff.
  • Walking, bending, rotating, and standing constantly.
  • Frequent climbing stairs.
  • Repetitive use of hands, arms, shoulders, back, and legs constantly.
  • Lifting to waist level of 40 lbs. infrequently and 20 lbs. or less frequently.
  • Sight and hearing of acceptable standards for Essential Job Functions.
  • The working environment may be stressful when meeting staff and guest needs.
  • Exposure to cold temperatures.

Education / Experience:
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • One year Barista experience preferred.
  • One year cash handling, POS system, customer service or equivalency.
  • Current Washington State Food Worker Health Card.
