Tatte Bakery & Cafe is seeking an AM Bakery Driver/Receiver to help ensure fresh products reach our cafés efficiently. You will load, deliver, receive, and organize bakery items while maintaining FIFO and inventory accuracy. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and safe, proactive operations.

Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, a DOT Medical Card, and strong communication skills to support bakery logistics and daily café operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent verifiable driving experience.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

Our AM Bakery Driver/Receiver team plays a critical role in ensuring our cafés receive the fresh products, ingredients, and supplies they need to create exceptional guest experiences each day.

As an AM Bakery Driver/Receiver, you will support both bakery logistics and café operations by ensuring products and inventory move safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout our system. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in reliability, organization, teamwork, and getting the job done the right way.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and deliver bakery products and supplies to cafés


• Receive, verify, and organize incoming deliveries


• Monitor inventory accuracy and maintain proper FIFO rotation


• Track waste and


• Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe storage areas


• Follow all sanitation, safety, and Department of Health standards


• Support daily operational assignments from the Bakery Logistics Manager


• Identify and communicate operational issues proactively


• Work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively as part of the bakery team

VEHICLE INFORMATION

Drivers Will Operate

• 16–22 ft refrigerated straight trucks


• Automatic transmission vehicles with lift gates


• Standard Class D License required

Essential Functions / Working Conditions

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to safely load, unload, and transport bakery products and supplies


• Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
