Job summary

Altercare Newark North in Newark, Ohio is seeking an RN or LPN Alzheimer’s Unit Coordinator to lead programming for residents with dementia. You’ll design activities, develop care plans, perform assessments, and supervise CNAs to enrich daily life on the secure unit.

Qualified candidates hold an Ohio RN or LPN license, with experience in geriatric or long-term care settings, and knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease. We offer competitive pay, benefits and growth opportunities.

• Education: RN or LPN with valid Ohio License.
• Experience in development and facilitation of activity program preferred.
• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing, long-term care or geriatric setting preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia appreciated.
