Job summary

Boston College is seeking an Assistant/Associate Director of Annual Giving Reunion Programs to lead reunion volunteer leadership fundraising efforts and manage strategies to secure gifts from $1,000 to $25,000 from milestone classes. This role reports to the Director of Annual Giving Programs and requires high-touch donor engagement.

The AD will recruit volunteer committee members, manage solicitations, and coordinate with prospect managers across University Advancement to deliver a seamless

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; fundsraising experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of university fundraising experience for Assistant Director; 2-3 years for Associate Director; 3-4 years for higher levels with gifts of $10,000+.

Responsibilities

• Oversees class gift committees and volunteers; sets goals and fundraising plans.
• Cultivates, solicits, and steward alumni through the gift cycle.
• Determines and executes strategies to increase reunion class giving; manages peer-to-peer solicitations, events, and visits.
• Analyzes fundraising activity to identify improvement opportunities and drive donor retention and acquisition.
• Collaborates with BC Advancement to move prospects through the gift cycle; supports institutional priorities.
• Conducts approximately 75 personal visits annually; manages 50-75 alumni portfolios; targets 1863 Society solicitations.
• Plans events and programs in collaboration with Alumni Relations and Direct Marketing.
