Job summary

The University of Michigan invites applications for the Wolverine Pathways Alumni Relations Fellow. You will design and lead alumni-focused programming, coordinate volunteer opportunities, and help alumni stay connected with WP scholars and current students.

This one-year fellowship may extend based on performance. Ideal candidates are committed to equity, with strong organizational, communication, and project-management skills, and experience in event planning and facilitating groups.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; 2026 spring/summer graduates welcome.
  • Prior successful completion of Wolverine Pathways program.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects or responsibilities.
  • Some experience with student or group facilitation and event planning.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in college preparation and retention, and a commitment to equity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage alumni relations and services including contacting WP alumni and tracking progress.
  • Facilitate alumni engagement in in-person and virtual settings.
  • Support design, implementation, and evaluation of student professional development programming, enrichment, events, and coaching sessions.
  • Lead virtual and in-person sessions supporting college readiness and professional development pre- and post-college completion.
  • Maintain knowledge on industry trends and resources for college access and career readiness.
  • Assist with planning and staffing additional WP events as needed.
  • Perform other duties to ensure efficient program functioning.
