Job summary

NC State College Of Education in Raleigh, NC seeks an Alumni Coordinator to build and sustain alumni relations, engage students and partners, and advance college initiatives. The role emphasizes relationship building, programming, and robust communications to support the college’s mission.

The position is 0.75 FTE with a schedule Monday–Friday 9am–3pm, occasional weekend events, and a salary range of $40,000–$45,000. This is a strategic role for community-building and fundraising support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of professional experience in alumni relations, higher education, advancement, communications, student engagement, event coordination, nonprofit engagement, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support alumni engagement communication initiatives to strengthen alumni connection and engagement.
• Recruit and support alumni volunteers for mentorship programs and college events.
• Coordinate alumni events and continuing education initiatives across departments.
• Assist with donor stewardship and engagement activities.
• Maintain alumni records and engagement data to improve outreach and participation.
