Job summary

The ideal candidate has a decade of alumni relations or fundraising experience, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to work with diverse volunteers, donors, and staff across campus.

Qualifications

• Ten years of related experience in alumni relations or fundraising.
• Experience launching, revitalizing, or growing alumni volunteer structures and advisory councils.
• Familiarity with CRM and alumni engagement platforms.
• Experience within a public university or comprehensive regional institution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy aligned with the University’s mission and advancement goals.
• Lead planning and execution of a portfolio of alumni events, traditions, and signature programs.
• Serve as the primary staff liaison to the University’s emerging Alumni Council and provide governance support.
• Collaborate with development, annual giving, communications, and university leadership teams to advance priorities.
