Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking an Advancement Assistant to support the College of Engineering & Applied Science alumni engagement team. The role handles administrative duties with discretion, focusing on donors, faculty, staff, and alumni relations.

Hybrid work schedule with some on-campus and some remote days; evenings/weekends may be required. Salary range $55,000–$60,000 annually with relocation assistance available within guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ years of direct work experience.
• Experience in nonprofit or higher education environment desired.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key administrative support member for Alumni Engagement.
• Manage procurement, vendor contracts, deposits, expenses, and purchase requisitions.
• Maintain alumni and donor records, generate reports, and manage event materials.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, notes, and collaboration with advancement team.
• Support event preparation, registration processes, and briefing reports.
