Job summary

Harvard University is seeking an Email Marketing Manager for Harvard Business School in Boston, MA. You will lead alumni and donor communications via Salesforce Marketing Cloud, manage Email Studio and MobileConnect, and collaborate across Alumni Engagement and Development to optimize campaigns.

The role involves data-driven audience segmentation, QA, and coordination with IT, Contentful, and cross-functional teams in a hybrid work model (on-site ~3 days/week).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of email marketing or related experience.
• Hands-on experience building campaigns, managing audiences, and producing reports.

Responsibilities

• Builds, tests, schedules, and deploys email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio and Cvent.
• Manages SMS campaigns via MobileConnect; handles audience selection, consent, and reporting.
• Acts as Salesforce Marketing Cloud subject matter expert; supports QA, testing, and data integrity.
• Develops HTML/CSS emails with personalization and dynamic content.
• Maintains automated lifecycle communications and data governance.
