Job summary

YKK AP America Inc. in the United States is seeking a skilled fabricator to cut, assemble and finish architectural aluminum products using hand tools, milling, glazing and CNC machines.

You will fabricate window systems from extrusions, follow drawings, meet quality standards, identify parts, and participate in assembly and testing processes in a safety-conscious environment. The pay range is $17.88 to $21.35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for shift work and

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Experience with hand tools preferred.
Able to lift 35–40 lbs repeatedly.
Must be able to stand for 10 hours.
Must bend, stoop and kneel as part of fabrication.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Safety-conscious and quality-driven.

Responsibilities

Fabricates all Window products from aluminum extrusions using drawings and hand tools, milling and CNC machinery for hardware prep.
Fabricates, assembles and ensures quality requirements for each process of cut, prep, assembly and glaze.
Follows sequence of operations for each window system and tags materials for assembly and inspection.
Performs general production work and may work off shifts as required.
