Job summary

General ThermoDynamics, an API Heat Transfer Company, seeks experienced Aluminum MIG & TIG Welders for our Iron Ridge, Wisconsin facility on 1st shift. You will weld aluminum components for heat exchangers, read blueprints, and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years MIG/TIG experience, can read welding symbols, and work well both independently and in teams. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a stable, growth-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years aluminum MIG/TIG welding experience.
• Experience welding thin-gauge aluminum materials.
• Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and manufacturing drawings.
• Strong fabrication and assembly skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG weld aluminum components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Fit, position, and secure parts prior to welding.
• Inspect welds for quality and tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
