Job summary

Altra in the Washington, DC area seeks a Field Service Representative to champion the brand in stores, clubs, and events. You will connect with runners and retailers, deliver in-person product education, and help grow Altra’s presence through hands-on activations.

This remote role requires a self-starter who loves running and outdoor communities, with 1+ year of retail experience and 2+ years in customer-facing roles.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of specialty retail experience (run or outdoor preferred).
• 2+ years in marketing, sales, or a customer-facing field role.
• Experience fitting and selling technical footwear.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while staying connected to a broader team.
• A proactive, self-starter mindset with a passion for the running and outdoor community.
• Familiarity with Altra products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Activate the Altra brand across the territory through authentic connections and activations.
• Build relationships with retailers through in-person visits, demos, and sales floor support.
• Deliver engaging product education to retail staff and consumers.
• Create excitement around Altra through local partnerships, run clubs, events, and community engagement.
• Execute merchandising and promotional activations that elevate the in-store experience.
• Represent Altra at local races, events, and expos.
• Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to execute go-to-market plans.
• Share product feedback and market insights with the brand.
• Maintain field reporting and manage field assets, travel and expenses with attention to detail.
