E-Space in Saratoga, CA is seeking a hands-on PCB Design Engineer to own the PCB lifecycle from concept to manufacturing release, using Altium Designer for high-layer-count digital and mixed-signal boards.

The role emphasizes high-speed trace and PDN integrity, DFX, and collaboration with FPGA, firmware, and mechanical teams. Base pay ranges from $130,000 to $200,000 annually, with total comp determined by experience.

Qualifications

• Experience owning the PCB lifecycle from concept through production release.
• Strong understanding of high-layer-count boards and impedance control.
• DFX focus including fabrication drawings, BOMs and manufacturing packages.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire PCB lifecycle from concept to manufacturing release.
• Develop and maintain complex multi-layer PCB layouts and schematics in Altium Designer.
• Ensure high-speed signal integrity and robust PDN/grounding.
• Produce fabrication/assembly documentation including Gerber/ODB++ files and BOMs.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, firmware and mechanical teams.
• Coordinate with fabrication/assembly vendors to address DFM/DFT issues.
• Manage component selection and ECAD library, support board bring-up and revisions.
