Job summary

Principal Global Investors is seeking a Configuration Analyst II/III to advance automation and efficiency across our Nonqualified onboarding, conversions, and key processes. You will design, configure, and maintain Alteryx workflows and partner with business teams to translate needs into scalable tech solutions.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving, learning new platforms, and delivering reliable workflows that align with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
2+ years of related work experience or equivalent demonstrated through various experiences.
Working knowledge of business processes and supporting systems.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technology platforms and tools independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to handle ambiguity and create practical solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, test, implement, and maintain Alteryx workflows for onboarding, conversions, and operations.
Analyze processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains using Alteryx and other tools.
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into workflow solutions.
Monitor and enhance workflows to ensure reliability and scalability.
Document configurations, requirements, tests, and procedures.
Collaborate with IT Architecture, Data Governance, and other stakeholders to ensure compliant workflows.
