Job summary

Qualifications

  • Education: Two years of college coursework in criminal justice, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Two years of clerical or technical work in criminal or institutional settings with independent interpretation of rules.

Responsibilities

  • Perform booking and recordkeeping activities, including photographing, fingerprinting, and work site assignments.
  • Enter and retrieve information using multiple criminal justice information systems and databases.
  • Create, maintain and monitor files to ensure enrollment completion and notify stakeholders of outcomes.
  • Schedule and screen participants for local placement, and prepare referrals for transfers as needed.
  • Review sentencing orders, determine work site eligibility, and coordinate participant enrollment.
