Job summary

Ada County Sheriff’s Office is seeking an Alternative Sentencing Technician to be one of the first faces encountered after sentencing. You will guide participants through enrollment, coordinate program appointments, and maintain confidential records with meticulous care.

You’ll collaborate with judges, court staff, law enforcement, and community partners to support program participants and ensure smooth operation of court-ordered obligations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute preferred.
• Previous experience in law enforcement, corrections, legal services, or Alternative Sentencing is helpful but not required.
