Qualifications

• Equivalent of a high school diploma and 1 year of direct work experience in Criminal Justice, Social Services, Juvenile Justice, or related field.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and court processes.
• Ability to learn Hamilton County policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/placement of defendants into Alternative Sentencing Programs.
• Interview clients/defendants and gather data for placement.
• Perform record checks to determine eligibility for program acceptance.
• Operate and monitor electronic monitoring equipment.
• Attend show cause hearings and testify in court as needed.
• Maintain and update records and files.
