Job summary

People, Technology & Processes in Fort Bragg, NC seeks an Alternate Program Manager (APM) to stand in for the Program Manager and lead daily contract operations with full authority. The role requires coordination with the COR and oversight of program data, cost, schedule and performance reporting.

Candidates must hold U.S. citizenship, have an Active Secret clearance, 5+ years in program management for contractor workforce DoD programs, and 5+ years in exercise planning and logistics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in program management on a contractor workforce for a DoD contract of comparable size and complexity.
• Experience coordinating with a COR and managing daily operations.
• Strong skills in planning, reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Act for the contractor on all daily operational matters in the Program Manager's absence.
• Serve as point of contact with the COR when performing Program Manager duties.
• Support collection and maintenance of program data and monthly cost, schedule, and performance reporting.
• Support management of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and subcontracts.
• Ensure continuity of contract management and mission support.

Position Title: Alternate Program Manager (APM)Location: Fort Bragg, NC.Clearance required: SECRETScope of Work: Acts for the contractor in the absence of the Program Manager with full authority on all contract matters relating to daily operations, and occupies the same designated office space when performing those duties.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Act for the contractor on all daily operational matters during the Program Manager's absence.Serve as point of contact with the COR when performing Program Manager duties.Support collection and maintenance of program data and monthly cost, schedule, and performance reporting.Support management of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and any subcontracts.Ensure continuity of contract management and mission support.Active Secret clearance, maintained throughout the period of performanceU.S. citizenship.At least five (5) years of experience as a program manager managing a contractor workforce in support of a Department of War contract of comparable size, scope, and complexity.At least five (5) years of experience in exercise planning and logistical support.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Valid state driver's license.
