Qualifications

• 2-3 years of fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers.

• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and alterations equipment.
• Flexibility to embrace a changing schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and mark areas for alterations.
• Perform customer fittings and complete sewing alterations per Nordstrom guidelines.
• Meet productivity goals while following processes.
• Use store technology to manage and organize alteration requests.
• Collaborate with Alterations & Store Team to meet customer expectations.
• Educate customers and employees on fit, construction, and trend.
