Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking an Alterations Associate to join the tailoring team in a luxury retail setting. You will provide tailoring services, customer support, and alteration expertise during fittings to ensure exceptional experiences for clients.

The role requires minimum 3 years of tailoring in high-end merchandise, strong technical skills in specialty fabrics, and a commitment to Saks customer service standards. Training and growth opportunities exist within a leading luxury retailer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years fitting and tailoring experience in high-end merchandise.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments.
• Strong technical background in specialty skills such as leather, knits, beading, etc.
• Ability to use all standard sewing, pressing & spotting equipment.
• Knowledge of alterations industry and luxury merchandise.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
