RWJBarnabas Health in New Jersey is seeking a Paramedic Coordinator for the Mobile Health unit, a salaried day-shift role within MH Northern Operations. The position oversees EMS QA/QI, regulatory compliance, and operational systems across ALS and BLS services.

Requirements include NJ MICP or Paramedic certification, CPR/ACLS/PALS, and related credentials. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered in a hospital setting.

Formación

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Current Driver's License and must satisfy the current vehicle insurance company's requirements.
• Must possess a current NJ MICP certification, National Registry Paramedic preferred in addition.
• Must possess an American Heart Association BLS-Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification required, instructor qualification preferred
• Must possess an American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required, instructor qualification preferred
• Must possess an American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required, instructor qualification preferred
• Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support or International Trauma Life Support certification
• Must possess CSC 100, 200, 300, and NIMS 700, 800
• Must have completed Hazardous Materials Awareness training, HAZMAT Operations within 6 months
• Must have completed Weapons of Mass Destruction or CBRNE Awareness training, CBRNE Operations within 6 months

Responsabilidades

• Enforces hospital and departmental policies, as well as external regulatory policies.
• Maintains required certifications in MH policies and all applicable statutes and regulations.
• Maintains baseline and continuing knowledge of MH policies and procedures and relevant regulations.
• Works within established budgets.
• Develops and maintains operational systems of the MH Department.
• Ensures ALS, BLS, Dispatch and AED QA/QI activities comply with state regulations and policy.
• Assists in compiling and analyzing ALS & BLS QA to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitors regional indicators against national clinical benchmarks (e.g., cardiac arrest survival, intubation success).
• Oversees clinical remediation as identified through PI in line with policy.
• Investigates sentinel events or clinical complaints.
• Performs annual MICP/MICN recertification per NJAC rules.
• Audits EMT recertification CEUs.
• Processes annual NREMT-Paramedic/Basics recertification per NREMT.
• Assists with annual ALS & BLS competencies per NJAC standards.
• Assists with policy development for the department.
• Participates in Clinical Leadership Board meetings and regional EMS meetings.
• May present topics during monthly management meetings and trainings.
• Maintains membership and attends meetings with RWJBH/NJOEMS committees.
• Provides ALS unit coverage on emergent bases and as needed.
• Responds to major incidents per department policy.
• Provides orientation and supervision for RWJBH/NBI EMS Fellowship and EMS rotation.
• Reports statistics for EMS calls.
• Assists with managing ePCR, EKG transmission, and hospital data interfaces.
