RWJBarnabas Health, at Jersey City Medical Center, seeks a Paramedic to deliver Advanced Life Support in the MH Hudson MICU. This role emphasizes quick decision-making, compassionate patient care, and strict adherence to state EMS protocols.

The position requires active NJ Paramedic certification or reciprocity, BLS, ACLS, PALS, Hazmat awareness, and ongoing continuing education. Night shifts with full benefits for eligible staff are offered.

Formación

• High School or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Current Driver's License and meet vehicle insurance requirements.
• NJ Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic (reciprocity eligible).
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider (CPR).
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Hazmat Awareness Certification.
• ISC 100, 200 and NIMS 700, 800 are required.
• Weapons of Mass Destruction or CBRNE Awareness training completed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) services.
• Operate department vehicles per NJ laws and MH policies.
• Complete required continuing education and certifications.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Maintain professional conduct and teamwork with EMS partners and hospital staff.
• Complete vehicle inspections and certification documents as required.
