Cetronia Ambulance Corps Incorporated in Allentown, PA seeks a Paramedic to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) patient care, ambulance operations, and coordination with EMS teams. The role requires PA paramedic certification, PALS, EVOC (within 60 days), ACLS, CPR, and EMT experience.

Candidates must have a PA driver license and meet annual CEU requirements. The position involves 24-hour EMS operations and team-based response.

Qualifications

Must possess and maintain a valid State of Pennsylvania driver license.
Must possess and maintain a valid State of Pennsylvania paramedic certification.
Must possess and maintain PALS certification.
EVOC certification within 60 days of starting date.
Must maintain ACLS and CPR certifications.
Annual Medical Command Authorization by the Corps Physician Medical Director.
Annual Blood Borne Pathogen/TB/Haz-Com Awareness Program.
High School graduate.
Completion of course work and certification as a Pennsylvania paramedic.
A minimum of one year field experience as an EMT, EMT-P, or RN.
Maintain 18 Continuing Education Units per calendar year.

Responsabilités

Provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance operations with a partner.
Administers ALS patient care following guidelines and protocols.
Performs advanced medical interventions (airway management, IV, ECG interpretation, defibrillation).
Monitors communication equipment and coordinates with medical command and EMS staff.
Transport patients to treatment centers and document care and billing.
QA/QI evaluative functions for ALS and BLS tripsheets.
Responds promptly to emergency calls and works in variable conditions.
