Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Paramedic to join Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA. The role provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) to patients in crisis and supports EMS Services with rotating shifts and a strong commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities include airway management, IV therapy, defibrillation, medication administration, and monitoring rhythms. The ideal candidate will have PA EMT-Paramedic certification, CPR, ACLS, and PALS, plus EMT training program graduates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PA EMT-paramedic certification required.
• CPR (BCLS) training current.
• ACLS and PALS certifications current.
• Graduate of PA-approved EMT and Paramedic programs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and provide ALS-level care with accuracy.
• Monitor vital signs and identify detrimental trends.
• Administer CPR and initiate airway management and oxygen therapy.
• Perform IV access, administer medications, and monitor cardiac activity.
• Stabilize suspected fractures and assist in emergency childbirth when needed.
• Provide rapid, decisive care in transporting patients to receiving facilities.
