Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled Paramedic to deliver advanced life support in a high-demand EMS setting at Navicent Health Medical Center - Ambulance Services in Georgia.

You will perform rapid patient assessments, administer medications, manage airways, and coordinate care with hospital teams to ensure seamless handoff and transport. A valid Georgia Paramedic license, BLS/ACLS, and a 1-year ALS background are required.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Paramedic license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Minimum 1 year of paramedic experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support emergency medical care per EMS protocols.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and initiate interventions.
• Administer medications and perform advanced airway management.
• Ensure safe patient handling, transport, and infection control.
• Operate emergency vehicles in compliance with policies and laws.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare partners.
• Maintain readiness of vehicles and equipment; report deficiencies.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and teamwork; support safety culture.
• Participate in training, quality improvement, and competency validation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
