Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Paramedic to provide advanced life support and rapid patient assessment across the lifespan. You will perform airway management, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, and ensure accurate documentation under EMS protocols and medical direction.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Paramedic license required and maintained without lapse.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required without lapse.
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License with suitable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support emergency medical care per EMS protocols and medical direction.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and initiate interventions.
• Administer medications and manage advanced airway and cardiac procedures.
• Ensure safe patient handling, transport, and infection prevention practices.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and according to policies and laws.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and documentation control.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and receiving facilities.
• Maintain readiness of vehicles, equipment, and supplies.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and contribute to a culture of safety.
• Participate in required training, QA activities, and competency validation.
