Advocate Health is seeking a Paramedic for Navicent Health Medical Center - Transport Services in Macon, GA. This full-time role offers a 40-hour work week with a day shift.

You will provide ALS emergency medical care, perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and coordinate patient transport with hospital teams. Qualified candidates hold a Georgia Paramedic License with BLS/ACLS, a valid GA driver’s license, and must pass background/licensing checks.

Qualifications

• Current, active Georgia Paramedic License and licensure maintained.
• BLS and ACLS certifications maintained.
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License.
• Background screening and licensure verification performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide ALS emergency medical care per EMS protocols and medical direction.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and initiate interventions.
• Administer medications and manage airway, cardiac monitoring, and defibrillation as allowed.
• Ensure safe patient handling and transport with proper body mechanics.
• Document care accurately in reports and records.
• Communicate with patients, families, and receiving facilities to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain readiness of vehicles, equipment, and supplies.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and teamwork in a culture of safety.
• Participate in required training, QA activities, and competency validation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
