Job summary

A Banquet Server role at Aloft Gainesville University Area, managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, LLC, seeks energetic individuals for part-time events. You’ll greet guests, mingle, and ensure sparkling service while supporting banquet setups and teardown.

Weekend and night availability is required, with gratuities included in hourly pay. Benefits may apply after an initial waiting period, including medical/dental/vision coverage and time off options as part of our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with experience in hotel or related field.
• Certification in Alcohol Awareness and Food Handling, as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth, provide hospitable service and ensure memorable interactions.
• Mingle with guests and teammates to keep events lively and service seamless.
• Prepare banquet spaces, attend to details, and maintain high presentation standards.
• Manage time efficiently to deliver service from setup to closing.
• Resolve issues calmly and escalate to management when needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in a hotel or related field.
