Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a part-time Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Monmouth. ASAP start, with daily rate £85.50–£92.63. The role focuses on supporting children with ALN to engage with classroom activities and development.

You will join a supportive team and work to help pupils build confidence and independence, while maintaining strong communication with staff and a proactive attitude toward learning.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in an educational or similar setting.
• Experience supporting children with ALN.

Are you looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant role within a mainstream primary school?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Monmouth. The school provides a supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and engagement with education.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time basis, starting ASAP. The successful Teaching Assistant will work with children with additional learning needs / ALN, providing appropriate classroom support and helping pupils to engage with their learning and development.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting
• Experience supporting children with ALN
• An understanding of how to adapt support to individual needs
• A patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and proactive attitude
