AlmaVia of San Francisco is seeking a Med Tech/NOC Shift Supervisor to join our memory care and assisted living community. You will prepare and pass medications, document administration, and maintain logs in our electronic system while ensuring timely, safe delivery of medications.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, Med Tech certification, CPR/First Aid, and at least six months in long-term care. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in San Francisco, CA.

Responsabilités

_ This is a NOC Shift Supervisor Position that also manages Medication Administration. _

Our Med Tech:

• Prepares and passes medication for residents as ordered by a physician, reporting any medication errors, side effects or problems to supervisor or physician.
• Documents administration or refusal of medication in required format and style.
• Maintains documentation and communication log in accordance with required procedures, using electronic system when appropriate.
• Reorders meds as needed, following appropriateprotocols.
• Following medication policies and procedures is responsible for the delivery, ordering, re-ordering, storage, documentation and destruction of medications.
• Insures that medication is available when needed through on time refills. Orders labs as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working experience with computerized Point of Care and other systems.
• 6 months or more in long term care, home care or related field preferred.
• Successful completion of Med Tech Training program and Medication Aide/Medication Tech certification in state, as required.
• Minimum of six months experience in long term care, home care, or a related field.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English language.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and other pre-employment testing as required by state (may include fingerprinting and/or pre-employment physical).
