Job summary

Allianz US Life in Minneapolis seeks an Analyst or Senior Analyst to support asset and liability management, monthly regulatory analyses, and ALM model runs, driving governance and automation.

You will partner with actuarial, finance, and portfolio teams, develop models, improve processes, and explore AI-enhanced analytics to inform risk decisions. This role reports to the AIM VP – ALM.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in life insurance ALM or related financial services.
• Strong modelling skills with actuarial familiarity preferred.
• Proven written and verbal communication to an executive audience.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute recurring monthly regulatory ALM processes (e.g., PBR).
• Collaborate with actuarial, portfolio management, and finance teams to analyze risks and report insights to leadership.
• Develop and maintain financial and risk models and perform ad hoc analyses.
• Identify inefficiencies and lead automation/consolidation of ALM analyses.
• Communicate across teams to align analyses and support decisions.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance modeling and automation.
