Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an Alloy Operator - 2nd to operate and maintain furnaces and launder systems, ensuring timely delivery of metal to casting machines.

Starting wage up to $23/hour with experience plus shift premium and a $1000 sign-on bonus. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) and vacation are offered. Equal opportunity employer with accommodations available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain furnaces and launder systems to ensure timely delivery of metal to casting machines.
• Check temperatures and gauges and adjust as necessary.
• Add hot metal, ingot, sows, and scrap to furnaces.
• Take alloy gas readings and submit to Quality.
• Clean and remove oxidized aluminum from furnaces and launder system.
• Assist Die Cast Operators as needed.
• Deliver metal to reverbs, holding furnaces, launder and casting machines.
