Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Contributor Assembly Operator to join a team-based manufacturing environment. You will assemble components, adhere to safety rules, and help meet quality standards and delivery schedules.

You will participate in 5S/TPM activities, perform changeovers when applicable, and support continuous improvement through error proofing and documentation of issues. AHS/GED is required, with emphasis on teamwork and quality.)

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a team environment focused on safety and quality.
• Willingness to follow standardized work instructions and control plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures on equipment to ensure safety in cell/line/plant.
• Participate in 5S/TPM activities and audits.
• Support changeovers and set-ups as applicable.
• Assist in error proofing and idea generation for process improvement.
• Calibrate and master gages and understand gauging requirements.
• Document quality issues and assist in creating clean points.
• Maintain clean, organized stations and communicate issues to management.
