Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a PHARM for a 13-week assignment in Rangely, Colorado. The role involves ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, dispensing prescriptions, and coordinating with clinicians. Immunizations and credentialing support are included.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, inspections, and recordkeeping requirements
• Fill and verify prescriptions and submit third-party claims
• Consult with physicians, nurses, patients, and staff on medication questions, formulary options, and cost-effective therapies
• Monitor storage, distribution, and use of medications and supplies, and track inventory levels and expiration dates
• Document and report medication errors and support quality and safety efforts
• Maintain accurate transaction and drug accountability records, and complete third-party and financial reporting
• Administer immunizations and maintain required records and protocols
• Oversee safe, compliant, and effective operation of the pharmacy under Colorado and federal regulations
• Coordinate pharmacy staff and provide clinical support in a retail pharmacy setting
• Manage prescription dispensing, regulatory oversight, inventory management, and medication safety
• Maintain active Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing
• Maintain current CPR and immunization certifications

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PHARM for a temporary assignment in Rangely, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a PHARM:

• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, inspections, and recordkeeping requirements

• Maintain active Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing
